so was quite a celebration!

We had to sail from San Blas Islands, Panama to Caprigana, Columbia to renew our immigration. What a cool place - it is not an island but is on mainland Columbia - the forest is so thick there are no roads and you can only come by boat. This is the local taxi driver.

A very well organized grocery store.

A visit from our neice Cassandra

In July 2011, our neice Cassandra came to visit us in Bocas del Toro, Panama. Cassandra had been studying Medical Spanish and volunteering in the local medical clinics in the Dominican Republic so this was a great way for her to relax and chill. This is her first day in the dinghy on our way to our favorite Mexican Restaurant for killer Margaritas.

The day after the Margaritas, a swim was required so we had her jumping off the hard top.

A perfect dive.

Craig and Cassandra after several dives.

Her proud Uncle Craig with a coco loco.

Craig and Cassandra playing Mexican Train dominoes.

Cassandra and Liz drinking Coco Locos at Rana Azul

Cassandra shooting the pellet gun at Rana Azul.

We had a great time playing with the toys.

and then the party continued until the wee hours on Salida.

happy hour and hang out in the water.

We scored - most of the islands are isolated - no stores - so everyone gets very

excited when the vege boat comes - they come once a week-weather permitting. Rueban the fisherman comes almost everyday - if he caught fish. It is a very healthy way to eat.

The vegetable boat
